Langton's Ant is a cellular automaton consisting of a simple ruleset which is described on the linked Wikipedia page. There is no real interaction, other than to start and pause the animation. To download a .png, right-click on the animation and save as image.
The Heat Map shows the number of times the ant has visited a point on the grid.
