Over the Labor Day weekend Cynthia and I spent a day hiking in the Saugatuck Harbor Natural Area. If you haven't been, or haven't heard of it, I can't recommend it highly enough! It starts at the north edge of Oval Beach in Saugatuck, and extends north along Lake Michigan to the Kalamazoo River channel. There are several marked trails in among the dunes.
